You ever have just a crazy busy week where maybe you have family visiting, going on vacation, or your regular job has you working over time, and you just don’t, or wont have the time to post or interact. Today’s blog is going to help you plan for those occasions.
Plan Ahead
For some real life busy periods, if you know you’re going to be too busy to work on your side hustle, make sure you use some periods of down time up to that point, to plan ahead. This means making content for both your socials and your paid sites, even if it’s not when you usually would. Taking time away from regularly posting and promoting can hurt your engagement and in turn, your earnings. So make sure you have a stock pile of fresh new content to use for those times you’re going to be away.
Use Scheduling Tools
We’ve talked a couple of times about using scheduling to help you during busy points in your day, but it can also be a good resource for if you’re going to be away for a couple of days. That content you have stashed for just such an occasion can be scheduled to you paid platforms through their regular post scheduling and you can use an app such as Metricool to post to your social media. Post scheduling allows you to schedule all of your stuff at once to post on the days you need it to. So even if you’re away, your fans wont miss your content.
Hire an Assistant
There are going to be cases where you will not be able to answer messages while you’re away. Like if you’re going on a really long trip and wont have wifi. For these cases, you may want to consider hiring an assistant. An assistant is someone that helps you manage your fan subscription platform. They help you with everything from uploading content to answering messages and even providing some services for you such as sexting. Most assistants are other content creator who know how to handle the individual platforms you’re working from and are familiar with the online sex worker industry. Some assistants are willing to work on an as-needed basis for a percentage of what your platform earns during the time they are managing it for you. You can check out creator friendly message boards and ask other content creators to find an assistant that will be a good fit for you and your content.
Let Your Fans Know
Let your fans know you’re going to be away. But only do this if you’re not hiring an assistant. Most people, even fans, will understand if you’re going to be away for a couple of days because you’re traveling. Leave a poll up for them to interact with while you’re away, and when you come back you can take a look at the results of the poll and start talking about it and acting on whatever the subject of the poll was.
